Part 1: Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

Gaussian Splat Hosting (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a specialized web-based interface for the uploading, hosting, streaming, and sharing of massive 3D spatial data files, specifically including .ply, .splat, and .e57 point clouds.

Our website fundamentally operates as a “thin client.” This means we facilitate the connection and data transfer between you (the customer), our decentralized edge storage provider (STORJ), and our payment processor (Stripe). We simply provide the bridge and the user interface for these enterprise networks.

2. Data Storage, Backups, and Data Loss

You are solely responsible for maintaining local backups of your files.

While we utilize a highly resilient, globally decentralized edge network (STORJ) for hosting and delivery, Gaussian Splat Hosting is designed as a delivery and presentation platform—not a permanent data archiving or disaster recovery service.

• We do not guarantee against data loss, file corruption, or accidental deletion resulting from user error or network anomalies.
• It is entirely up to you (the customer) to download, maintain, and securely back up your original source files on your own local hardware.
• Custom Physical Backups: If you require your uploaded files to be downloaded, loaded onto a physical hard drive or NAS device, and securely shipped to your engineering firm, this is available as a custom-priced service. 3. Payment and Strict No-Refund Policy

All billing, subscription management, credit card routing, and payment processing are handled securely and exclusively by Stripe.

No Refunds: Given the nature of our service, we immediately allocate massive amounts of enterprise edge storage capacity and decentralized bandwidth the moment an account is created and files are uploaded. Because we incur these high infrastructure costs instantly, all sales, trials, and subscription payments are final and strictly non-refundable. This includes the 5-Day Paid Trial and all subsequent annual subscription renewals.

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing by accessing your Stripe billing portal directly via your dashboard.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to only upload files for which you own the explicit intellectual property rights, or for which you have explicit permission from the property owner/client to share. You may not use our service to host malicious software, illegal content, or data that violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to terminate accounts and aggressively delete files that violate these terms without prior notice or refund.

Part 2: Privacy Policy

1. Minimal Information Collection

Because our platform is designed to be a lightweight, thin-client intermediary, we deliberately collect and store as little personal data as absolutely possible on our own servers. We only store the data strictly necessary to run your portal:

• Your Name
• Your Email Address
• Your Business/Company Name (and optional website URL)
• The specific 3D spatial files (e.g., .ply, .splat, .e57) you explicitly choose to upload to the platform.

2. Third-Party Processors (Billing & Storage)

Billing Data: We do not collect, process, or store your credit card, banking, or billing information on our servers. All financial data is handled directly by Stripe. Stripe maintains their own independent privacy and security policies regarding your financial data.

File Storage: The massive files you upload are routed directly to the STORJ decentralized network. We simply hold the encrypted keys necessary to retrieve them for your client viewing links.

3. Data Deletion and Account Management

You have full control over your deliverables. You can delete your spatial files directly from your dashboard at any time, which permanently removes them from the edge network. If you wish to completely close your account and have your name, email, and business profile purged from our active databases, please contact our support team.
